Marlo Turner to Join Selby Gardens as Vice-President, Chief Advancement Officer – Sarasota
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has announced that Marlo Turner will join its staff as vice-president and chief advancement officer. Turner comes to Selby Gardens from Tidewell Foundation, where she has served as vice-president of development since September 2020. Prior to that, she served as senior vice-president of philanthropy at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a certificate in fund raising management from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She also earned a certificate in executive management and leadership from Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Spears School of Business. She received her bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant administration from OSU.
